Dear friends and fellow ELIT students, I'm Mehmet Eren Girgin, a junior ELIT student, and I'm excited to run for the position of ELIT student representative on our Student Council. Firstly, I want to serve as our representative because I believe in making a difference, and I always try to achieve it. Throughout my years in Bilkent, I have volunteered in various international organizations and taken leadership roles, as these experiences have shaped me and eventually led me to be a candidate for this position. I am and will be passionate about advocating for our diverse community and ensuring that every student's voice is heard. I will embrace and represent our community's diversity and inclusivity, where everyone can express their unique perspectives and ideas without hesitation, no matter our background or identity.
